Following FIFA ban, University withdraws honorary degree bestowed on Sepp Blatter

More troubles are coming the way of axed FIFA
president, Sepp Blatter as a UK university has stripped
him of an honorary degree earlier bestowed on him.


Barely one day after he was banned from all football
related activities alongside UEFA’s Michel Platini,
Leicester’s De Montfort University has withdrawn the
Arts and Humanities degree it awarded the 79-year old
in 2005.

The withdrawal was disclosed by Leicester Mercury in a
tweet which has since gone viral.
